The AEOfix AI Bot Tracker ("Service") is a web analytics tool that records when automated bots and AI crawlers visit pages on your website. You install a lightweight tracking pixel (a 1×1 transparent image request) on your pages; each request is logged to our database and displayed in your private dashboard.
The Service is provided by William J Bouch / AEOfix, 10 Richard St, Asheville, NC 28803, United States ("we," "us," "AEOfix"). By creating an account or installing the tracking pixel you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is offered on the subscription plans below. All plans are billed monthly. Limits apply per billing period and reset at the start of each new month unless otherwise noted.
"Tracked pages" means distinct URL paths from which at least one pixel request was received during the retention window. Pages beyond your plan limit are not stored; if a domain exceeds its page limit in a given period, new page URLs are silently dropped until the oldest pages age out of your retention window or you upgrade.
Data retention means the length of time individual bot visit records are kept before automatic deletion. Data older than your plan's retention window is purged on a rolling basis. Downgrading your plan shortens your retention window; historical data outside the new window will be removed within 30 days of the downgrade.
Starter plan is currently invite-only during beta. Pricing and plan limits are subject to change with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.
You agree to use the Service only on websites you own or have explicit authorization to monitor. You may not:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate fair use, with or without notice, at our sole discretion.
When the tracking pixel fires, our servers log: the requesting IP address, user-agent string, HTTP referrer, page URL, and a timestamp. We classify bot visits automatically and store aggregated analytics. We do not collect or store personal data about your end-users beyond what is described above.
IP addresses are stored in their raw form in your visit log and used for geolocation (country level). We do not share individual IP addresses with third parties. Raw IP data is subject to the same retention limits as your plan.
Your dashboard account data (email, password hash, site configuration) is stored in our database and never shared or sold. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing AEOfix.com@gmail.com. Deletion is processed within 30 days.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee any specific uptime percentage on Starter or Pro plans. The Service runs on shared cloud infrastructure (Vercel and Neon); scheduled maintenance or third-party outages may cause temporary interruptions. We will make reasonable efforts to notify subscribers of planned downtime at least 24 hours in advance.
If the pixel endpoint is unreachable, bot visits during that window are simply not recorded — there is no data buffering or retroactive replay. This is expected behavior, not a defect.
Agency plan subscribers may request a dedicated infrastructure review if their use case requires isolated data storage or a formal SLA. Contact us to discuss options.
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Payments are processed securely; we do not store payment card data on our servers. All fees are in USD.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain dashboard access until then. We do not issue prorated refunds for partial months unless required by applicable law.
If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days of the charge at AEOfix.com@gmail.com and we will investigate.
The Service, dashboard interface, bot classification logic, and all associated software are owned by AEOfix / William J Bouch. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any AEOfix intellectual property to you.
The analytics data collected from your website belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of your data, and we do not use your site-specific data for any purpose other than providing the Service to you. We may use anonymized, aggregated statistics across all customers to improve the Service and publish general industry insights (e.g., "AI bot traffic grew X% this quarter").
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Bot classification is performed automatically using heuristic matching and may not be perfectly accurate. You should not use bot visit data as the sole basis for business or legal decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AEOfix's total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the total fees you paid in the three months preceding the claim. AEOfix is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes (including changes to plan limits, pricing, or data retention) will be communicated to active subscribers by email at least 30 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Minor changes (spelling corrections, clarifications that do not affect your rights) may be made without notice.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts located in Buncombe County, North Carolina, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
Before filing any formal claim, you agree to contact us at AEOfix.com@gmail.com and give us 30 days to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.
